Author Description

李东河，1942年，李东河出生于韩国庆尚北道庆山。在徐罗伐艺术大学文艺创作学科学士学位，之后求学于建国大学院国文科并获得硕士学位。现执教于韩国中央大学艺术学院文艺创作艺术学科。
作为作家，李东河在青年时代便获得了韩国文坛的青睐，1966年时从《首尔新闻》的“新春文艺”栏目的作品公募中脱颖而出，获奖作品《战争与松鼠》发表在此栏目。1967年，李东河以《忍冬》一文获得“公报部艺术新人奖”。同年，《忧郁的归乡》也在《现代文学》杂志的长篇作品公募中获奖并刊登。
自此，李东河以颇为华丽的开场正式登上韩国文坛。身兼作家与大学教授两职的李东河在多年的写作生涯中来发表了很多优秀作品，在韩国引起广泛关注，并获得国内许多文学大奖的肯定。
李东河著有短篇小说集《沙》（1978）、《风之家》（1979）、《黄昏下的山沟》（1986）、《暴力研究》（1987）、《明亮温暖的日子》（1987）、《沙漠图》（1989）、《田螺姑娘会知道吗》（2007）和中篇小说《门前》（1997），以及长篇小说《忧郁的归乡》（1978）、《都市泥沼》（1979）、《冷酷的舌头》（1994）、《玩偶之城》（1982）。其中短篇小说《沙》获得1977年第三届韩国小说文学奖；中篇小说《饥饿的灵魂》获得1982年的第十三届韩国创作文学奖；长篇小说《玩偶之城》获得1982年的首届韩国文学评论家协会奖；短篇小说《弹片》获得1983年第九届韩国文学作家奖；短篇小说《暴力研究》获得1986年第三十一届现代文学奖；中篇小说《门前》获得1993年首届吴永洙文学奖。

Book Abstract

情况本就不堪，雨又一直不停。即使推了三轮车到大街上，结果也不言而喻。于是，我们全家人只好整天待在木箱一般的屋子里。用潮乎乎的被褥蒙住头脸，像蚕一样躺下，雨敲打房顶和木板墙的声音那样清晰，淋湿了整个世界的雨水最终将我们的灵魂也打湿。我们带着饥饿导致的眩晕和更加清明的意识享受着雨珠滴落满地的声音。
父亲偶尔哼起小曲，也就在这样的时刻。当然，父亲不会扯着嗓门唱。与其说那是唱歌，不如说那是为了排解心中烦郁而哼唱几句。透过粗浊的鼻音，我能够听得清的只有几小段。父亲一直在反复哼唱那单调又缺乏抑扬顿挫的音节，间歇之后再重新来过，长长久久。仿佛在同什么人诉说心事……
但是，我明白。因为他那样茫然哼唱着的曲子也是我熟悉的。是的，父亲在哼唱着插秧歌，就在这座玩偶之城。
直到明亮的月光从手掌大小的纸窗缝照进来的时候，我们仍然无法入眠。因为月色太清亮，我们也都感到空着肚子的身体清澈透明，我们以似水般清净的心情等待父亲，困意也不能侵犯我们。
我对姐姐的耳朵低声问道。
“到哪儿了？”
于是姐姐向我这边侧过来像小孩子般回答。
“到十里外了。”姐姐的气息温和地拂过我的耳垂，我特别喜欢那种感觉，很快就再次发问。
“到哪儿了？”
“到五里外了。”
“到哪儿了？”
“到铁道边了。”
“到哪儿了？”
“到胡同了。”
“到哪儿了？”
“到门口了。”
突然好像听见父亲的自行车的声音，我缓缓坐起身，母亲和姐姐也悄悄地探出头来。
由于结冰的河面，流过河中心的水看上去更加清澈和冰凉。虽然风刺骨地寒冷，但却是阳光明媚的一天。水面上闪动粼粼波光。因此，当仿佛谎言一样成为一把粉末的母亲的尸体被我和姐姐慢慢地洒在河里的时候，我真的有一种刺眼的感觉。它比我之前见过的尸体都明亮，无暇，耀眼。我莫名其妙地沉浸于一群蜻蜓透明耀眼地飞舞着的幻想中。
