Content Description

《向田邦子的情书》讲述了向田邦子（1929-1981），日本著名电视剧家、随笔家、小说家。她是日本收视率最高的剧本作家。她的电视剧以绝妙的对白、巧妙的构思被称为“向田电视剧”。日本最高荣誉的编剧奖“向田邦子奖”便是以她的名字命名的。1980年，她以三篇短篇小说《水獭》、《狗屋》与《花的名字》荣获第八十三届直木奖。这在直木奖中至为罕见。
她以令人扼腕的方式猝然离世。1981年8月22日，她乘飞机自台北松山机场至台北高雄国际机场时，因空难丽丧生。
向田邦子是日本人的国民偶像，即使已逝世三十余年，其经典剧本仍一再重拍，大学为她设立研究所，出版社甚至为她设立电视剧本奖。日本作家新井一二三称向田邦子是“大和民族的张爱玲”。

向田邦子写给N先生的信日航饭店的信纸、信封 [邮戳日期] 昭和三十八年（1963）十一月二十七日限时信因为都市中心饭店①客满了，我住进了日航饭店。很想报告工作一切顺利，但其实昨晚从NHK回来时，突然嘴馋，在“维多利亚”买了蛋糕。摊开那份值得一看的四张晚报边吃边读，居然吃掉了五块蛋糕。之后又喝了海苔茶，消夜吃了三个饭团。结果，今天早上果不其然，肚子不太对劲，有点腹泻。我这个铁胃毕竟也有吃不消的时候，于是吃了药，早餐只吃葡萄柚汁和色拉。直到现在四点，没吃半点东西。偏偏睡眠不足又遇上肚子不舒服，害得工作进度落后了半天，只好五体投地对TBS和二叶印刷厂①道歉了。今天打算努力工作到明天上午九点，然后回家一趟，换好衣服后，看出日场的舞台剧。洗完头后，晚上到KRC录音。二十八日工作到傍晚，好久没一起吃饭了，我们去哪儿用餐吧！因为是邦子的生日嘛。二十九日在都市中心饭店闭关，认真工作。三十日在TBS有二十八分钟的录音（一样是 KRC），从一日到七日，在都市中心饭店。究竟可不可以忍受一个礼拜不见小禄②和巴布③，我自己也不敢说！你那边一切还好吗？不要随便发脾气，宽心自在最重要。还有赶快去买瓦斯炉。大阪方面来了电话。居然表示大获好评，我实在很惊讶。因为没吃东西，站起来觉得头晕。二十八日之前我会恢复健康的，对不起。多保重，注意手脚不要受冻。再见。 N先生的日记昭和三十八年十一月二十七日昨晚并没有太晚睡，早上却不太起得来。半睡半醒之间听见《阿九》①，过了八点后起床。一如天气预测，气温十分冰冷。十点半打电话给邦子，确定明天的行程。从上个月起便开始留意邦子的生日快到了。买了两本书之后，便从高圆寺车站直接回家。午餐：番茄、小黄瓜、罐头香肠、面包。因为下午天气变暖和了，又没有风，于是到中野找书。走了约两小时后回家。P4-7

从向田邦子的文学作品里，看得出来她是个热爱生活的人，她擅长描绘看来不经意的细节，并且从那细节中看透人间百态。她的故事深入生活的纹理，喜欢写饮食起居，她的剧本和随笔时常出现家常的食物，她还开了一家专卖家常菜的小酒馆。她过世后，妹妹到公寓去整理，发现邦子甚至有一个专门收集美食信息的抽屉。

她喜欢美食，喜欢古董，喜爱旅游，屋子很乱，常常熬夜写稿。

向田邦子的父亲是个私生子，一生靠着自己的努力往上爬，性格非常刚烈，在家里有许多不可违逆的规矩，因此母亲做事很仔细小心，但也时常挨骂挨打。邦子有两个妹妹和一个弟弟，其中邦子似乎是最会念书的孩子。

她二十一岁从实践女子专科毕业之后开始工作，一开始是在专做教育电影的财政文化社做助理。后来转职到雄鸡社旗下的《电影故事》做编辑。在那之后，她开始有了写作的机会，成为广播剧作家。二十四五岁时，父亲有外遇，家里陷入了非常低潮的状态。

她在三十五岁之前一直与父母同住，即使熬夜再晚，也一定起床与父母共进早餐，送父亲出门之后再回去睡。三十五岁与父亲发生争吵后，从此就搬出去住了，搬出去那天据说刚好是东京奥运的开幕式，她四处找房子，在巷子里眺望开幕典礼。

向田邦子没有结婚，过世多年后人们才从她的日记和书信往来中知道，她二十几岁时曾是外遇的第三者，对方年纪比她大很多。他们的感情持续了很多年，这期间向田邦子一直住在家里。而从本书中妹妹的描述看来，他们曾经分手，男方最后似乎是以自杀终结。向田邦子被父亲赶出家门，反而是在男方去世之后的事。

在那之后一直到坠机身亡的十几年之间，究竟还有没有其他的发展，我就不清楚了。事实上，向田邦子的情感生活似乎一直是个谜。

后来，她的妈妈透露，父亲之所以把她赶出去，是因为看她与父母同住，凡事都得小心翼翼的，觉得她自己也不好意思开口说要搬出去，所以故意跟邦子吵架，好让她有机会搬出去。

看到这里，我不禁感叹，有这样表面暴躁但是情感细腻的父亲，也难怪向田邦子的作品总是带着一种温厚的底蕴。

她四十六岁时曾得过乳癌，开刀时并发血清性肝炎，右手几乎瘫痪，因此，她的随笔和小说是以左手写出来的。

五十一岁获直木奖，来年于台湾坠机身亡。

这些人生的枝节和困顿，都是读了这本书之后才明白的。向田邦子被喻为日本昭和时期的才女，短短的一生创作了万余本的广播剧本，电视剧千余本，而且收听和收视率都极高，这些竟然是在这么不顺遂的状况下创作出来的。她的一生历经战乱、苦恋、疾病等种种的逆境，还是孜孜不懈地写着，右手瘫痪了就用左手，这样地写。据说她经常牺牲睡眠熬夜写到天亮。果然，天才是靠努力完成的。

不论再怎样才气纵横，写作的人总是必须坐在桌前，一个字一个字写出来，别无他法，能够坚定坐在桌前的人，才能够写出东西。虽然，向田邦子有时候甚至是站在录像棚外写，有时候是躲在小酒吧里写，总之，就是不断写着。

我曾在网络上看见一张向田邦子的照片，是她专科毕业纪念册上的纪念照。看起来是个聪明、有英气的女子，微笑着的眉宇之间有坚强的意志。也非得是这样聪明又有坚强意志力的人，才可能有那样惊人的创作量。
