《跟大师学国学：<诗经>讲义》是傅斯年1928年在中山大学讲授《诗经》时留下的课堂讲义。虽名为讲义，但就内容的深度和广度而言，已可称得上一部《诗经》通论。讲义融考证和注疏于一体，提出许多新异的见解。作者在总结历代《诗经》学的基础上，提出研究《诗经》应有三个态度：一是欣赏其文辞，二是作为极有价值的历史材料，三是作为一部极有价值的古代言语学材料。之后，分论颂、雅、风，对《诗经》的时代、文辞也有论述。

傅斯年，著名史学家，思想家。他在新文化运动和五四运动中崭露头角，创办并长期领导中央研究院历史语言研究所，曾任北京大学代理校长、台湾大学校长。他在史学方面有许多开创性的贡献。

《跟大师学国学：<诗经>讲义》：
其六日稷田之舞。《载芟》、《良耜》、《丝衣》三篇属之。《丝衣》一篇尤像《豳·七月》末章。稷田是当时的大事，自可附以丰长之舞容。
此外必尚有其他残篇在《周颂》内，只是此时，或者永远，寻不出头绪来了。
约上文而言之，《周颂》不分章非原不分章，乃是“不得其所”之后零乱得不分章。其所以在《三百篇》中独遭这个厄运者，由于这些事物的本体原是靠政府保存的，政治大变动便大受影响，只剩了些用旧名而变更成了新体的各种舞乐在民间了。东汉末年文化远高于西周末年，然灵帝以后之大乱，弄得中原众乐沦亡，魏武平荆州，获杜夔，善八音，常为汉雅乐郎，尤悉乐事，于是以为军谋祭酒，使创定雅乐。东汉之乱尚至如此，遑论西周之亡？
大约《周颂》可分三类，一无韵者，二有韵之短章，三有韵之长章，文辞各不同。
上文中涉及两事，心中寻绎起来觉得关涉颇大者：一、西周亡时是怎么个样子？二、《风》、《雅》、《颂》中关系南者何以这样大？西周亡时，大约是把文物亡得几乎光光净净。因亡国而迁都，都不是能搬着文物走的；永嘉之乱，没有搬出甚么东西到建业来；靖康南渡，没有搬出甚么东西到临安来。东晋文化只靠吴国的底子，南宋文化只靠江南诸军内的底子。照例推去，则宗周之亡，至少应该一样损失文献，遑论平王以杀父之嫌，申侯以杀君之罪，自取灭亡之后，更不能服人的。《小疋·正月》、《雨无正》两篇，记载周既东之初年景况，一望而知当时的周王竟成流离之子，则《诗》、《书》、《礼》、《乐》带不出来，是当然的。而据周故地者，先是野蛮的犬戎，后是称中国为蛮夏的戎秦，其少保存胜国文物更不必说。所以现在所见《诗》、《书》关于西周者，应该别有来源处，断不能于既东之周室求之。那么，来源处在那里？我想，一是南国，二是鲁。
先说南国。照上文说，韶乐与召公当有一种关系，如《武》之于武王。《颂》中既有《勺》一章，则《颂》和南国当不是没有关系的。就《小雅》论，说到地名人名，涉及南国者不少。《出车》所记是北伐，而北伐之人是南仲；此诗是“俨狁于夷”后“薄言旋归”者，仿佛当时移镇南之师以为北征。《六月》之尹吉甫不知即是《大疋·常武》之尹否，若是，则伐俨狁至于太原之人，也曾有事于东南。方叔之方应在西周境内，故俨狁来侵，则侵镐及方，薄伐俨狁，则往城于方；《采芑》中以方叔南征，又若移直北之师以为平南。《四月》所记又是“滔滔江汉”，“瞻彼洛矣”亦是东都之诗，《鼓钟》又有“淮水湝湝”之语，《鱼在于藻》有“王在在镐”之文，然这可是遥祝之语。
