随着中国城市化进程的进一步加速，以及城镇化的日益提升。中国的城市发展面临着重大的结构性挑战，如何在推进城市持续发展的基础上，形成一个良好的城市治理体系，成为中国城市发展的一个核心议题，因此，现代城市需要在比较和借鉴世界上不同城市的治理经验基础上，形成一种新的治理结构和体系。围绕着现代城市治理的几个核心议题，周蜀秦*叶南客、李程骅主编的《大都市复合治理--创造持续繁荣的可能/南京社科学术文库》梳理了关于城市发展与治理的前沿理论，针对新常态下的“无边界经济”治理策略、区域创新网络的建设与治理、国际性大事件的地方治理与谋划、大都市圈同城化的协同治理策略等重要议题，尝试性提出关于中国当下关于城市治理的综合性路径和框架。
Author Description

周蜀秦，南京社会科学院社会发展研究所副所长、副研究员，复旦大学城市治理比较研究中心副主任，南京大学社会学博士、复旦大学政治学博士后。2012—2014年，在新街口街道挂职担任党工委委员、办事处副主任，先后主持和组织了建筑大师杨廷宝故居的修缮、新街口商圈移动互联化及智慧城市方案的实施、珠江路科创空间及创业大街的营造等实务工作。先后主持教育部人文社科规划基金“全球生产网络、地方治理与区域创新体系建设”、中国博士后基金、复旦大学中央高校基本科研业务提升项目“基于全球生产网络框架的中国城市复合治理”等国家及省部级课题，在《社会科学》《江海学刊》《同济学报》《城市问题》等杂志发表论文四十余篇，获江苏省哲学社会科学优秀成果三等奖
