第—章入学前，科学地进行早期教育
轻松做好父母要诀1：用心六七年，轻松两代人。
早期教育的必要性
如果一个人长到17岁完成智力发育的话，那么4岁时他会发育50名，8岁时80％，在8～17岁的9年里，只发展20％。这是美国心理学家最著名的发现。因此，智力开发对学前儿童尤为重要。
可以说，科学的早期教育是最经济高效的智力投资。如果能当好孩子的启蒙教师，好好利用人生这头7年，长大后大可不必花高价择名校、请家教；如果用错误的观念和方法进行早期教育，相当于拔苗助长，对孩子的身心发展不但不利，反而有害，往往使孩子成为身心不健康的苗子，注定不能长成参天大树。
一些“神童”才艺超常的同时也存在着心理异常。1964年出生的“中国第一神童”宁泊从没有上过幼儿园，13岁成为中国科技大学少年班第一人，曾引发了当时全国的“神童热”，可他却在38岁时放弃大学的工作和家庭，出家当了和尚，被找回后于2003年再次遁入空门。但是，我们不能因此否定早期教育的必要性。国内外教育专家一致认为，人类智力发展的规律之一是先快后慢，儿童的潜力呈递减趋势，婴幼儿期是人类智力开发的最佳时期。
