在《行为的调控：行为主义心理学（套装上下册）》中，我们以时间为顺序，以代表人物的理论为线索，阐释了行为主义产生、发展和演变的历史过程。行为主义是西方心理学中流传时间长、影响范围大的一个学派。从20世纪初产生至今仍在心理学的诸多领域有着广泛的影响。从时间上和理论观点上看，行为主义可以大致划分为三代：第一代是早期或经典行为主义（1913年至20世纪30年代），以华生为最主要代表，其他的代表人物还有郭任远、梅耶、魏斯、霍尔特、亨特和拉施里等人。第二代是新行为主义（20世纪30年代至60年代），主要代表人物有古斯里、托尔曼、赫尔、坎特和斯金纳等人，他们的学生又演生出各自小型理论宗派。第三代是新的新行为主义（20世纪60年代以来），主要代表人物有罗特、班杜拉、米契尔和斯塔茨等人。《行为的调控：行为主义心理学（套装上下册）》的一个重要特色是对过去研究不多的行为主义代表人物，如郭任远、梅耶、魏斯、霍尔特、亨特、拉施里、坎特、罗特、米契尔和斯塔茨等人的思想给予较为详细的评介，我们还专门写了新行为主义的发展一章，介绍新行为主义者的后继者所发展的小型理论宗派。目的是为了让读者看到行为主义阵营的广泛性和丰富性。

Author Description

修巧艳，女，l977年10月出生于山东龙口，1996-2003年就读于山东师范大学教育科学学院，先后获得教育学学士、硕士学位，2003年考入南京师范大学教育科学学院，2006年6月获得基础心理学专业的理学博士学位。现为南京航空航天大学高等教育研究所副教授，硕士生导师，发表论文10余篇，合著《大脑潜能与开发》，参编、参译著作7部，参与多项省部级课题的研究工作
郭本禹，安徽肥西人，1964年生，心理学博士先后就读于安徽师范大学、南京大学和南京师范大学。1995、2000年分别破格晋升副教授、教授.2000年始担任南京师范大学博士生导师，兼任中国心理学会理事、理论心理学和心理学史专业委员会副主任、人格心理学专业委员会委员、《心理学探新》和《心理研究》编委，主持省部级课题10多项，在《心理学报》、《心理科学》等刊物上发表论文100多篇，有近30篇次论文被《新华文摘》和《人大复印报刊资料》转载出版专著、编著、译著《道德认知发展与道德教育》、《当代心理学的新进展》、《自我效能理论及其应用》、《现代心理学史》等30余部。主编《德育心理学丛书》、《中国精神分析研究丛书》、《研究生教材·心理学系列》、《当代心理学弪典教材译丛》等多套大型学术丛书。获得省部级科研、教学奖励10余项，其中一等奖4项。2002年被列入江苏省“333新世纪科学技术带头人培养工程”第二层次培养对对象，2007年被列为江苏省“333高层次人才培养工程”首批中青年科技领军人才。

Book Abstract

（3）元素论与整体论。
科学主义心理学继承了联想主义心理学的传统，采用元素论来研究心理现象，认为确定心理现象的构成元素及其结合规律是心理学的首要任务。冯特最早提倡对心理进行元素分析，铁钦纳也坚持这种观点，并且分析得更为精细，提出意识是由感觉、表象和感情三种元素构成的。古典行为主义虽然在研究对象上反对冯特和铁钦纳，但在元素观上与他们保持一致。华生把复杂的行为简单化，将其视为刺激与反应的联结。信息加工论认知心理学继承了行为主义的元素分析传统，将心理视为信息及其符号单元。而人文科学心理学则更多地受到现，象学方法的影响，主张对人的心理现象进行整体描述，认为整体不是部分或属性的机械相加，整体不为部分所决定，相反还决定部分。格式塔心理学是整体论心理学的典型代表。格式塔心理学家苛勒指出：“我们所需要的是那些可用以了解我们的直接经验的概念，至于感觉之类的分子，我们凭自己的观察没有发现这些分子。”①人本主义心理学也反对将人的心理和行为肢解为统计数字或数学公式的定量分析，强调将人作为一个整体来把握，如奥尔波特主张对人格进行整体的研究，马斯洛主张用整体分析法研究人的心理。
（4）因果决定论与自由意志论。
科学主又心理学把人的心理现象看做自然现象，认为人的心理与行为都遵循因果决定论。决定论的观点认为，所有的心理事件都是有原因的，都是由某种先行的因素决定的，因而我们可以依据先前的心理事件来解释心理活动。科学主义心理学的创始人冯特指出，作为自然科学家，“我们必须把每一种行为中的变化都追溯到一种唯一可观察到的同一种东西，即运动。”②在后来的心理学发展中，行为主义在这方面的表现最为典型。行为主义强调行为分析的目的就是发现行为的原因，从各种各样的环境刺激中确定反应的决定因素，以便为预测和控制行为服务。尽管新行为主义包含着中介变量和行为目的等概念，但这些概念主要是对行为的刺激反应的操作化，与自由选择的意图和追求无关。与此相反，人文主义心理学强调人的自由意志和自由选择，认为人可以独立自主地做出决定，不受外在环境的干扰。存在心理学和人本主义心理学都坚持人具有自由意志，能够进行自由选择。
