Author Description

曹广才，男，1937年12月出生，河北饶阳人。民盟盟员。研究员。1962年毕业于北京师范大学生物系。现任职于中国农业科学院作物育种栽培研究所。政府特殊津贴享受者。主要贡献：以作物生态学和作物栽培学为主要研究方向。承担国家自然科学基金和有关部委下达的研究项目10余项。共获各种成果10余项，其中“中国小麦光温特性的研究”获国家自然科学奖，还有4项获省、部级科学技术进步奖。出版科技专著和有关书籍20多本（部）。代表作有《中国小麦生态》（科学出版社1991），《北方旱地主要粮食作物栽培》和《北方旱区多作高效种植》分别于1996年和1997年由气象出版社出版。《中国玉米新品种图鉴》（中国农业科技出版社1999），《实用玉米自交系》（气象出版1999）。在各种学报和有关学术刊物上发表论文和其他文章100多篇。代表作如《小麦主茎总叶数的变异》、《作物学报》1990（1）、《普通小麦日长反应的探讨》《生态学报》1990（3）、《强春性小麦品种的生育特性》（应用生态学报）1990（4）等。

第一章植物器官形态
自然界中有四十余万种植物，形态各不相同。低等植物构造简单，有单细胞的也有多细胞的，虽然有些种类的形态较为复杂，但是没有真正的根、茎、叶等器官的分化。在高等植物的不同类群中形态结构也不相同，低等的苔藓植物还没有真正的器官分化；蕨类植物是孢子植物，也没有形成花、果实、种子；裸子植物也没有真正果实的形成。我们这里讨论的器官主要是种子植物的器官，而具有真正意义的根、茎、叶、花、果实、种子六个器官的仅是被子植物。
植物器官是由不同的组织按照一定的结构方式排列组成，具有一定的外部形态和内部结构并执行一定生理机能的部分。
被子植物器官依据其形态结构和生理机能的不同分为两大段大类，共六种。
第一节根的形态和类型
【内容提示】
植物界的种类繁多，但是具有典型的、并且是由胚萌发而形成真正的根，仅仅是种子植物才具有的器官。蕨类植物也有大量的根，但这些根主要是由茎或根状茎上发育形成的，应该属于不定根。苔藓类植物的根多为单细胞或多细胞构成的丝状体，没有根的结构，常被称为假根。而低等植物通常没有根、茎、叶等器官的分化，所以我们讨论的根的形态应该主要是种子植物根的形态。
植物的各个器官和部分均可入药，但以根入药的植物种类最多。
