当前，我国正处于由制造大国向原创大国迈进的关键时期，在这样一个时候我们清醒地看到，在国内动漫产业振兴的同时还面临着人才的困惑。目前我国缺乏动漫游戏相关的人才，其中最缺的是实用型的操作人才和有创新能力的高端人才，人才的短缺已经在一定程度上制约了动漫游戏产业的健康有序发展。
为推动动漫游戏领域职业培训工作的健康、快速发展，培养和提高动画和游戏产业一线技能人才的就业质量，人力资源和社会保障部在《技能人才职业导向式培训模式标准研究》课题中设立了“动画、动漫”分课题，作为课题成果起草了《动画、动漫专项职业能力考核规范》。北京寒武创世数字科技有限公司作为课题的积极参与者和业界技能人才培养的推动者，在此基础上组织编写了《影视动画职业技能培训系列丛书》及《手机游戏职业技能培训系列丛书》。该系列丛书提倡以职业为导向，体现职业岗位的工作顺序，突出职业技能的培养。丛书的编写人员均是来自企业一线的资深从业人员，他们结合自己的实践体验和经验总结，将自身“全接触”的独特感受奉献给广大读者，可以说是为动画和手机游戏的初学者及从业人员提供了学习技能的有效途径，从而帮助他们进入动画和手机游戏创作的自由空间。
