注意调整生活节奏
一天24小时的生活节奏就是身体的节奏
眩晕、耳鸣恶化的原因也会隐藏在日常生活中。本章主要介绍日常生活中容易发现的问题及其解决技巧。首先，我们从最基本的生活节奏问题开始介绍。
我们的生活由睡觉、吃饭、劳动、休养、运动五大要素构成。要调整生活节奏，最重要的是要把握好这五大要素之间的平衡。其中睡觉和吃饭是维持生命不可或缺的重要因素。一旦打乱睡觉和吃饭的节奏，生活的节奏也会一塌糊涂，从而引起身体节奏出现紊乱。
我们一天要吃三顿饭、保持6～8小时的睡眠时间，并且有规律，早上起床、晚上睡觉，每天重复着这样的24小时的生活节奏。这种24小时的生活节奏是自主神经活动的节奏，也就是身体的节奏。
自主神经包括交感神经和副交感神经，其中交感神经促进身体的各项功能的运动，而副交感神经则起到抑制作用。白天交感神经辛勤工作，使身体处于积极的运动状态；晚上则由副交感神经替换交感神经进行工作，使身心得以休息。
打乱生活节奏的是睡觉和吃饭的节奏
生活节奏正常，是因为身体配合并顺应了24小时的节奏。早上按时醒，到一日三餐的饭点就会有饥饿感，晚上不管多晚都要保持睡眠。
半夜两三点仍然不睡觉的人，第二天当然不能按时起床。而不吃早饭的话，整个上午头脑都会昏昏沉沉，无法工作。午饭和晚饭合二为一的人，会打乱胃肠的蠕动节奏，导致次日的早饭也没有胃口。可以说，生活不规律的人会陷入各种恶性循环。
现在常有些人借口“我是夜猫子型”“我不吃早饭觉得更舒服”等，企图将不规则的生活方式正当化，而且这种人的队伍大有不断壮大的趋势。如果你打乱了身体本身的节奏，那么，早晚有一天这笔账要算回来，只不过不知道会表现在哪个部位。例如，也许会出现眩晕、耳鸣这样的症状。
为了调整生活的节奏，首先要调整睡眠和饮食的节奏。早饭自不必多言，一日三餐要尽可能在固定的时间用餐。晚上不管多晚都要在当天就寝，早上一定要按时起床。

正确对待眩晕、耳鸣
最近，因眩晕、耳鸣来医院就诊的患者逐渐增多，其中不乏因怀疑医生不告知病情而频频转院者。大概每个人都想知道确切的病因、并针对不适症状进行彻底治疗。
不过也有人轻率地认为虽然有明显症状，但也许哪一天它自己就会好起来的。还有不少人认为是多年的慢性顽症，无法根治而放弃治疗。
一般认为，眩晕、耳鸣的原因存在于很多方面。内耳是其主要原因，脑病或全身病状也会引起眩晕、耳鸣。如果不尽早治疗的话病情会恶化，难以控制和改善；如果放弃治疗的话甚至会危及生命。
因此，作为医生，我们在治疗眩晕、耳鸣时尤其重视症状深处是否隐藏着危险的病情，但这不能仅依靠病情的程度加以判断。人们通常会认为出现天旋地转这样强烈的眩晕是不得了的大病，会惴惴不安。但是眩晕、耳鸣并不是说病症强烈才会引起重大疾病。相反，大多数脑梗塞这样危险的疾病，则表现为蹒跚摇晃等轻微眩晕。
当然，在仅因眩晕、耳鸣来医院就诊的患者中查出关乎性命的病情的少之又少，但也有因怀疑是重大疾病，惶恐不安，使病情恶化的病例。为了不漏过大病、使自己安心，在此建议患者至少去医院进行一次详细的检查。
重要的是首先要区分你的眩晕、耳鸣是否有危险。原因明确的需要严格治疗；原因不明确的，也有减缓症状的治疗方法和应对措施。
