1.1 钣金基本知识
薄板、薄壁管和薄壁型材等薄壁金属零件统称为钣金零件，简称为钣金件或钣金。钣金在宇航、航空、汽车机车、电机、电器、食品包装、曰用五金和建筑等工业部门都有广泛的应用。例如，台式计算机的机箱，就是利用钣金工艺制造出来的。把毛坯料轧挤成钣金材料的生产企业和把钣金材料加工成钣金制品的加工企业，已成为我国国民经济中的一个重要生产和加工部门。
钣金加工是在常温下，使用材质相对柔软且延展性较大的钢板、铜板和铝板等材料，通过钣金加工机械和工具，生产制造出各式各样的形状和构造产品的过程。
钣金加工生产过程有：图样设计、钣金加工、生成零件、组合装配、表面处理和形成产品6个步骤。本书是针对钣金生产过程的图样设计这一步骤进行介绍的。
1．钣金成形方法
钣金件的形状繁多，所以加工成形的方法也很多。这些成形方法可以分为下面几类。
（1）弯曲成形。
（2）压延成形。
（3）胀形。
（4）拉伸成形。
（5）收缩成形。
（6）体积成形。
