Author Description

安东尼·德·圣-埃克苏佩里，法国作家、飞行员，生于一个传统的天主教贵族家庭，他以于1943年出版的童话《小王子》（LePetitPrince）而闻名于世。在他的经典儿童小说《小王子》出版一年后，为祖国披甲对抗纳粹德军。在1944年7月31日执行一次飞行任务时失踪。直到2004年4月，离奇失踪近60年的埃克苏佩里飞机残骸才在法国南部马赛海底附近被寻获。位于其家乡的里昂圣-埃克苏佩里机场是以他命名的。在他逝世50周年时，法国人将他与小王子的形象印在50法郎的钞票上。

Book Abstract

我费了好长时间才弄清楚他从哪里来的。小王子向我提了很多问题；对我提出的问题，他好像没有听见似的。无意中他吐露的一些话让我逐渐搞清了他的来历。例如，他第一次瞅见我的飞机时（我就不画出我的飞机了，这种图画对我来说太复杂），他问我：
“这是个啥？”
“这不是‘啥’。他能飞。这是飞机。我的飞机。”
我很骄傲地告诉他我能飞。于是他惊奇地说：
“怎么？你是从天上掉下来的？”
“是的。”我谦逊地答道。
“啊？这真滑稽。”
小王子发出一阵清脆的笑声。这使我很不高兴。我不希望别人幸灾乐祸。
他又说：“哦，你也是从天上来的了！你是哪个星球上的？”
他“从哪里来”的这个秘密，我隐约发现了一点线索。于是，我就突然问：
“你是从别的星球上来的？”
他不回答我的问题。他一面看着我的飞机，一面轻轻地点头，说：
“的确，乘坐这玩意儿，你不可能从很远的地方来。。。。。。”
