Content Description

一名在贫民窟长大的18岁少年被控谋杀自己的父亲，庭审结束后12名陪审员将裁定该少年罪名是否成立。由于各方面的人证、物证都显得较为充分，11名陪审员未经讨论就认定少年有罪，只有8号陪审员对案件提出了合理怀疑，并引导大家重新审视证据，克服各自内心的偏见、私利和冷漠，最终依照“疑罪从无”的原则裁定少年无罪。

雷金纳德•罗斯（Reginald Rose），1920年出生于美国曼哈顿，著名剧作家。在创作中善于用现实主义的手法表现有争议的社会和政治问题，是上世纪美国电视剧本创作“黄金年代”的代表性作家，多次获得艾美奖。于2002年病逝。
