《轻描淡写》是张艾嘉的一本创作书，是她这些年来的一些随笔集结。每章一个主题，均与她的电影、舞台创作有关，因此可以说是一部私人创作笔记，很随意，也很亲切。

偷听和编剧

在不同的公共场合听别人聊天是件很好玩的事，也是做编剧可以用来练习编故事的方法之一。

前几天我在厕所里排队，突然身后两个女生大声地在说﹕

“现在越晚结婚就越贵。”

“是啊！每一年都贵上几个percent。”

“所以要结就早一点，不然就结不了婚。”

“对啊！我姊姊就是拖了半年，发觉所有东西都涨价了，到现在还没结婚。”

很可惜到此我就得进厕所，不然很想知道如果物价一直上涨，这些女生会不会从此就不结婚了？或是为了要早办喜事就匆匆找个人嫁了﹖结婚原来跟通货膨胀的关系大过于跟爱情！

这是标准现代人的对话。我常常把一些听来的对白放在我的剧本里，这些都是精彩而有共鸣的对话。中文对白是最难写的一环，尤其是台湾的国语文艺片，总令人感觉文诌诌，造作不够生活化。这个问题也请教过一位白话造诣高深的作家，他分析国语因为是统一语言，必然偏官腔，好听，但就是客气，甚至有点假情假意。所以近年来华语片也回归到港片要看广东话版，台湾的本土闽南语令观众感到真实和亲切，地方色彩首先就由方言开始。多数用国语发声的电影常常归类于时装文艺偶像电影。西方的语言是属于有节奏，有规律的（rhythmic），而中文是有调性的（tonal）。一不小心没有处理好，包括对白写得不好﹑演员掌握过多或过少，都会造成伤害。

我也没有找到一个最好的解决办法，唯一能做的就是少用对白。有时候拍了一大段说话，最后都给剪掉。不说好过说，非得说的才说，还得演员说得好听，真不容易啊﹗

我这种偷听的习惯是很自然养成的，我老公常笑我狗耳朵。我坐在地铁上﹑医院里﹑任何地方，我就可以听到一些对话后，开始猜测那些人的关系﹑家庭背景﹑性格﹑目前的状况﹑可能之前发生了什么事。当然之前之后的多数是我编的。我可以越编越有趣，兴奋半天。如果我记得把它写下来，很可能某一段就会出现在某部戏里。忘记写的，就逐渐模糊，直到有一天在类似的情境下又听到类似的对白，闪出了一些我库存的画面，然后我又可以开始继续往下编故事了。

记得下次如果遇见我坐在你附近，说话最好当心些，你们都是我最好的资源啊！

穿粉红色T-Shirt的男人

我的同志友人告诉我，敢穿粉红色衣裤的男人一定不是同志！乍听之下有点不明白。友人咯咯笑不多解释，自己想吧！确实粉红色容易辨别为女性的颜色，只有男性荷尔蒙够强，绝不会被他人怀疑性向的男人才会完全不介意，甚至喜爱粉红色的衣着，所以我决定张孝全在《念念》戏里面要有一件这个色调的无袖T-Shirt。

我喜欢有信心的男人。每次见到对穿着打扮过分讲究的男性，就感觉有距离和不真实。就好像吃过于精致的西餐，总觉得没吃饱，但多一口又嫌太腻。和孝全聊天会发现他内在有一片广阔的天，包容度相当强。如果仔细研究他的五官穿粉红色T-Shirt的男人并非细致，也有某些缺陷，也因此他更显粗犷，加上这几年来演出增多，在不同角色的锻炼中培养出一份自信。以往他出席记者招待会或首映，给大众的印象都是躲在后面，紧绷的体态也不善于发言。最近和他一起拍某杂志照片，他完全知道如何驾驭肢体﹑表情﹑气氛，但是那个不是我认识的孝全；和他工作时他男性的魅力是来自他对工作的认真﹑角色的投入。他不多话，但对人诚恳，不需要太多外界的注意力﹐也无须经理人或助理每分每秒的照顾，更不用明星最渴望的身边人的吹捧。他和我的沟通是我给他表演空间，他对我的信任。整部戏里，多数时间这个男主角的脸不是被打肿就是带着疤痕，但是一点也不减他的帅气。那一天拍他的杀青戏，他穿着粉红色T-Shirt在防波堤上练着拳，身后是一片蓝天，我坐在远处看着他，好看极了。这个画面竟然让我感到不舍。

第一次竟然有了不希望让一个男演员杀青的念头。
