Author Description

奥利弗·威廉姆森教授是2009年度诺贝尔经济学奖得主之一。奥利弗•威廉姆森教授是美国新制度经济学派的主要人物之一，是交易费用经济理论的创始人和代表性学者。他1932年出生于美国威斯康星州，1955年获得麻省理工学院理学学士学位，1960年获得斯坦福大学工商管理硕士学位，1963年获得卡内基-梅隆大学博士学位。1963年-1965年，任伯克利加州大学经济学助理教授；1965年-1976年，任宾夕法尼亚大学经济学副教授；1976年以后，任耶鲁大学经济学教授。1987年5月，他还应中国社会科学院邀请，以交易费用经济学为题连续作了9次讲演。威廉姆森的主要研究领域包括一般经济学、管理学、产业组织理论与政策等。其中交易费用经济学、组织经济学，特别是是产业组织和组织行为的历史方面，成果颇丰。威廉姆森的主要著作有：《自由处置行为经济学》（1964年）、《公司控制与商业行为》（1970年）、《市场与科层制》（1975年）《资本主义经济制度》（1985年）、《治理机制》（1996年）等，同时还发表了很多非常重要的论文。

张群群，中国社会科学院财政与贸易经济研究所研究员、博士生导师。曾为我馆翻译过《自由的限度——在无政府与利维坦之间》。
