Author Description

亚历山大·埃尔德，23岁那年，亚历山大·埃尔德在一艘轮船上当医生，当轮船行驶到非洲时，他跳离了轮船，前往美国，在纽约当了一名精神病医生。他先后做过杂志编辑、哥伦比亚大学教师。1976年夏天，他从纽约开车前往加利福尼亚。途中，他读完了一本恩格尔的《如何买股票》，竞被书中通过思考赚钱的想法深深吸引，从此自己的人生轨迹便改变了。而在此之前，他对股市一无所知。
涉足金融交易后，他发表了数十篇文章、书评，制作了软件，做过许多演讲，是三重滤网交易系统发明人。1988年，他创办了专门为交易者提供培训的金融交易培训公司。
他著名的代表作便是《以交易为生》，又译《操作生涯不是梦》。

促使人们进行交易的原因有很多，其中有些是理性的，有些是非理性的。最直接的原因就是赚钱，因为有了钱就意味着有了自由，尽管很多人并不知道如何面对自由，但却知道交易能使人一夜暴富。
一旦掌握了交易的技巧，你就能自由支配时间，随心所欲地选择工作场所和生活地域，再也不用听命于老板。交易是一项令人着迷的智力游戏，它囊括了象棋、扑克和字谜游戏的所有魅力。那些喜欢琢磨疑难问题的人为交易而痴迷。

1．2幻想与现实
