发uei音时，ei音前增加一段由u音舌位开始的发音动程。舌位活动先降后升，由后到前，呈小曲折形状，幅度不大，曲折角度大，u是紧而短的。

鼻韵母练习
鼻韵母是由母音加上一个鼻尾音构成的韵母。在普通话里，充当韵母尾音的鼻音只有两个，这就是n和ng。n是舌尖音，由舌尖抵住齿龈发出，用它构成的鼻韵母有an、en、uan、uen、ǖan、ǖn、ian、in八个；ng是舌根音，由舌根抵软腭发出，用它构成的鼻韵母有ang、eng、uang、ueng、iang、ing、ong、iong八个。舌尖音n的发音部位在前，所以叫前鼻音；舌根鼻音ng的发音部位在后，所以叫后鼻音。
这两类鼻韵母的发音，关键在于发好韵尾-n和-ng，并分清韵腹元音舌位的前后。由于它们之间韵腹、韵尾在前或后的不同，发前鼻韵母时口就开得小，音色细窄；发后鼻韵母时口就张得大，出气流畅，音色宽宏。
总的看，鼻韵母也是一个整体，发音时由元音向鼻辅音滑动，鼻音色彩逐渐加浓，最后变成纯鼻音。作为韵尾的鼻辅音-n和-ng，发音特点是口腔造成阻碍，气流没有冲破口腔的阻碍，全部通过鼻腔出来。一前鼻音韵母的发音特点普通话由前鼻音n收尾的韵母有：an、en、ian、In、uan、uen、ǖan、ǖn。这些韵母的发音，都要从元音过渡到鼻辅音n，它们的发音特点是：韵腹元音的舌位偏前，发音时舌尖先下垂，再向上紧抵上齿龈，让气流全部从鼻腔送出。
注意：发这组音收尾时，要将舌前缘收到上齿龈，不能收到两齿间，更不能突出于齿外。
