Introduction

老妈已年过七十，当了一辈子中小学教师，培养出学生数千名。但这不是老妈值得自豪的，因为培养学生本就是老师的天职。老妈开心的、经常与我们念叨的是：首先，数千名学生当中，没有一个学生在老妈任教期间出过人身意外；其次，老妈换过好几个地方教书，刚开始接手的班级，往往是差班，但在老妈手里，大多数班级都变差为优，曾多次考全镇第一名，还考过全县第一名；再次，逢年过节，很多学生会到家里来看望老妈，来不了的也会打电话问候一下，这让老妈感到很满足、很有成就感。

老妈一辈子都喜欢记笔记，记录下自己的心得体会和人生感悟。另外，老妈还喜欢摘抄名人名言，从二十多岁起就保持这个习惯，一直坚持到现在，用了大大小小几十个笔记本。一些老妈经常念叨的话，我们当儿女的都耳熟能详：“沉住气办好事”“人最怕伤了心、动了情”“老了，我总是容易被往事打动”“记住，我们只是路过这个世界”等等。这些语录，对老妈本人有很大帮助，每当她生命中遇到挫折或困难时，老妈经常用这些话来鼓励自己、支撑自己。

我本人也过了不惑之年，在北京创办了一家优势文化传播公司，主要做出版及优势教育等方面的业务。大家都知道，创业并不容易。有时老妈看在眼里、急在心里，拿出原来的几十本笔记，选择一些她认为对我有帮助的语录，精心摘抄到一个笔记本上拿给我看，比如“关关难过关关过”“只要精神不滑坡，方法总比问题多”“熬过了苦难的日子，就会有幸福的人生”“一个人要想成功，必须要有承受能力、战胜自己、坚持到底”……这些发自老妈内心深处的语句，对我很有触动、很有帮助。它们是我痛苦或软弱时的一剂精神良药，让我鼓起勇气，奋然而前行！

考虑到老妈年岁已高以及这些语录的实际效果，有一天我萌发出一个念头：为什么不把老妈的这些话整理成“老妈语录”出版发行呢？经过反复思考，觉得这件事情可行，并且很有意义。第一，把老妈的思想系统整理一下，这是对老妈当了一辈子老师的最大敬意。第二，这些语录对我本人有很大帮助，可以指导我的后半个人生。第三，可以把语录分享给其他人，让更多的人得到启发和帮助。这个念头产生以后，我与周围的亲朋好友进行了沟通，大家都非常认可这个创意。于是，就更加坚定了我把老妈语录整理成书的想法。

需要说明的是，老妈语录的内容分为以下几个部分：

一部分，是老妈原创的语录。比如“挺得住，人生就要挺得住”“沉住气办好事”“人最怕伤了心、动了情”等等，这些语录是老妈对人生的深刻感悟和经验总结。虽然有些语录听起来比较“土”，但原汁原味、非常实用，是真正意义上的“老妈语录”。

另一部分，是老妈身边人的经典语录。比如老爸经常说的或欣赏的一些语录（老爸当过校长，也是老师），也一并整理在本书里面，比如“人们尊重的往往不是人，而是背景”“太太死了站满街，老爷死了无人抬”等。这一部分语录，道理上而言，不是老妈的“原创”，但经过老妈的整理，也算是“老妈语录”。

还有一部分，是老妈摘抄和整理的名人名言。比如“母爱胜过万爱”“能使自己幸福的唯有自己”“成功的时候谁都是朋友，但只有母亲——她是失败时的伴侣”。这一部分，是老妈喜欢并摘抄的名言警句，不是老妈原创的语录，为方便起见，也一并称之为“老妈语录”，但在这里必须要做出说明。
