《妈妈这样教孩子口才好》：
4周六一早，明明就把妈妈摇醒了，用小手指着放在窗台上的遥控汽车，嘴里稚嫩地喊着“妈妈，玩车车”，向妈妈暗示着自己要玩汽车。以往，只要明明用手指着什么东西，甚至不等明明说完一个完整短语，妈妈就替明明拿了过来。但是，妈妈发现，由于自己的“代劳”，明明到现在还不能说一句完整的话，比如电脑，他只说“脑”；电视机他只说“电”；玩积木，他只会简单地说“妈妈，积木”，让明明连着读“我们玩电脑”五个字，他就很费力一个字一个字地说，词语连贯不起来……
看到同龄人都能说“阿姨，早上好”之类的话时，妈妈着急了，就反复纠正明明说话，可是都不见效。妈妈带明明去看医生，医生也只是建议多和孩子说说话，因此，妈妈决定不能心软了，训练明明表达完整的句子。
于是妈妈皱着眉头，看着明明，假装不懂地问：“你要做什么？”明明由于玩游戏心切，着急地说：“妈妈，玩车车！”妈妈又假装奇怪地问：“谁要玩车车？”“妈妈，我要玩车车。”直到明明说出能完整表达意思的句子之后，妈妈才把遥控汽车递给了他，并告诉他，一定要把话说完整，别人才能懂得他说话的意思，否则别人就无法满足他的要求。
就这样，在日常生活中，妈妈经常对明明进行有意识的训练，时间一长，明明果然不再只说“半截子话”了，而是能把话说完整了。
