《幼儿心理健康教育》编写的主要思路是：
第一，幼儿心理健康教育应强调预防。提前预防比早期干预更为重要。幼儿心理健康教育首先应该着眼于预防，其次也要对幼儿心理问题及时做出判断，做到早干预、早治疗。传统观念是在幼儿问题行为出现之后才进行干预，而我们认为早期预防更加重要。从生命全程观的角度来讲，早期预防可以防患于未然，使儿童在每个心理发展阶段的过渡期都能健康发展。
第二，幼儿心理健康教育应着重促进。不仅仅是促进幼儿的心理健康发展，同时也要促进教师和家长的心理健康发展。心理健康教育要保证幼儿心理健康发展，提升其幸福感，强调家长和教师从正面对幼儿进行帮助、回应和养育。这其中包括了对家长、教师等养育者心理健康的促进教育，也包括了对幼儿自身学习心理健康知识的要求。
第三，幼儿心理健康教育应具有系统性。首先，幼儿心理本身就是一个自组织系统；其次，幼儿心理健康教育是生物学、神经系统科学、物理学、遗传学、产科学、新生儿学、儿科学、心理学、社会学、人类学和语言学等多种学科的综合；再次，幼儿心理健康教育工作是父母、教师、社区资源等多方面共同的工作；最后，幼儿心理健康教育也是全人类共同追求的目标，因为它关系到人类未来的发展，因此也是各国和各地区协同的工作。婴幼儿期是多种强大能量汇合的时期，在这个交叉点上，通过仔细研究，把生命发展进程的复杂本质进行了分类，从进化论——生物学，到意识和自我意识的结构。在我们逐渐对生命全程有更多的理解时，会对困扰我们的幼儿心理健康问题更加从容、乐观。

刘文，北京师范大学心理学院博士后。现任辽宁师范大学教育学院心理学系副主任、教授、博士生导师，兼任中国心理学会心理学教学工作委员会委员、社会心理学专业委员会委员、辽宁省心理学会常务理事及发展心理学会理事长。主要从事发展与教育心理学的教学和科研工作。主持或参加国家级、省部级课题研究10余项。在《心理学报》等杂志上发表论文50余篇，已出版著作和教材10余部。曾获霍英东全国高等院校优秀青年教师奖和国家级优秀教学成果奖。

第一章绪论
儿童不只是诗意地栖居于大地之上，还诗意地遨游于历史的长河之中。幼儿本来应该是天真单纯、活泼可爱的。但随着社会的发展，人们生活节奏的日益加快，婚育质量、独生子女的自我观念、父母的厚望、学习和升学压力，以及复杂多变的社会环境都在有形和无形地影响着幼儿的心理健康。促进幼儿身心和谐发展是幼儿教育追求的终极目标，也是时代赋予我国幼儿教育改革的重大任务，而要想促进幼儿发展，提高其心理健康水平，最重要的就是全面系统地开展心理健康教育。从出生到6岁是人心理发展的关键期，这一点已经为人们所共识。因此，幼儿心理发展与健康教育问题是整个世界所关注的焦点，更重要的是它体现了教育观念的更新与变革。
第一节幼儿心理健康教育的实质与目标
要理解幼儿心理健康教育的概念，特别要弄清楚下列定义：
（一）幼儿心理健康
1．幼儿健康的概念
2001年9月教育部颁发的《幼儿园教育指导纲要（试行）》明确规定：“幼儿园必须把保护幼儿的生命和促进幼儿的健康教育放在工作的首位。”这一提法具有深刻的理论依据和深远的实践意义。“健康第一”的思想由来已久，许多教育家都对此做出过精辟的论断。儿童教育家陈鹤琴先生明确提出“幼稚园第一要注意的是儿童的健康”。17世纪英国伟大的哲学家和启蒙思想家约翰?洛克（JohnLocke，1632—1704）认为：“人生幸福有一个简短而充分的描述：健全的心智寓于健全的身体。凡身体和心智都健全的人就不必再有什么别的奢望了；身体和心智如果有一方面不健全，那么即使得到了种种别的东西也是枉然。”

编写《师生心理成长丛书》，为的是要体现“优先发展教育”的要求，落实党提出的育人为本、德育为先、实施素质教育的艰巨任务。当前我国教育改革和发展面临的重大任务和时代旋律，是全面实施和推进素质教育。素质教育的重要内容和目标之一，就是促使学生养成良好的心理素质，提高学生的心理健康水平。而要想培养和发展学生的心理素质，最重要的方法就是全面系统地开展心理健康教育。应该说，最近几年，尤其是2002年颁布《中小学心理健康教育指导纲要》以来，在教育部的组织领导下，全国各地都把心理健康教育看作是德育工作的重要组成部分，许多中小学校开始系统地开展心理健康教育活动，许多教育研究机构尝试开展了系统的心理健康教育培训，在一定程度上提高了广大教师开展心理健康教育的能力，促进了广大中小学生心理素质的健康发展。
