Book Abstract

桂枝能温肾阳以逐寒，更长于助膀胱气化以行水。如《伤寒论》五苓散治疗肾阳虚、膀胱气化不行之水肿、小便不利。《金匮要略》桂枝加龙骨牡蛎汤治疗肾阳被损、心肾不交、阳浮神摇，而神动于上失精于下之梦遗，桂枝温肾阳以固肾气，使阳气归藏，则神动失精可除。《金匮要略》之肾气丸治肾阳不足之腰身以下冷感、小便不利或反多、痰饮水肿、阳痿早泄，用桂枝助附子以温肾阳，取“少火生气”之义。柯琴谓：“此肾气丸纳桂、附于滋阴剂中十倍之一，意不在补火，而在微微生火，即生肾气也。”
桂枝可温扶脾阳，以助运水，即张寿颐所谓“立中州之阳气，疗脾胃虚馁”。如《金匮要略》之苓桂术甘汤治疗胃中停饮、胸胁支满、目眩，取桂枝温脾阳以助行水之效。《金匮要略》黄芪桂枝五物汤，治血痹，阴阳具微，寸口关上微，尺中小紧，外证身体不仁，如风痹状，方中桂枝发挥温助阳气之功。
分析以上《伤寒论》及《金匮要略》中多首使用桂枝的经方，不难发现，桂枝在以上方中均发挥“温助阳气”的作用，不仅可以补心阳、助脾阳，还可以温肾阳。
中成药“前列舒丸”功效扶正固本，益肾利尿，用于肾虚所致的淋证，症见尿频、尿急、排尿淋漓不尽。药用附子（制）、桂枝、淫羊藿、韭菜子、熟地黄、山茱萸、山药、薏苡仁、冬瓜子、苍术、泽泻、茯苓、桃仁、牡丹皮、甘草，方中附子、桂枝温命门真火，淫羊藿、韭菜子温肾壮阳，令阳气旺则气化复，气化复则水津升降而不失其度，共为君药。“健脑补肾丸”功效健脑补肾，益气健脾，安神定志，用于脾肾两虚所致的健忘、失眠、头晕耳鸣等症。药用人参、鹿茸、杜仲、狗鞭、川牛膝、山药、茯苓、白术（麸炒）、肉桂、桂枝、酸枣仁、远志等药，方中肉桂、桂枝助阳散寒，温通经脉。“胃疡灵颗粒”功效温中益气，缓急止痛，用于脾胃虚寒、中气不足所致的胃痛。药用黄芪、白芍、桂枝、生姜、大枣、炙甘草，方中桂枝辛甘温热，温助中阳，与白芍同用能和营卫调阴阳。“小建中合剂（胶囊、颗粒）”功效温中补虚，缓急止痛，用于脾胃虚寒，脘腹疼痛，喜温喜按，嘈杂吞酸，食少等症。药用饴糖、桂枝、白芍、炙甘草、生姜、大枣，方中桂枝辛甘温热，温助中阳，和饴糖辛甘化阳以建中阳之气。“心荣口服液”功效助阳，益气，养阴，用于心阳不振、气阴两虚所致的胸痹。药用黄芪、地黄、赤芍、麦冬、五味子、桂枝，方中桂枝助阳以宣痹，上达心脉，为使药。“芪冬颐心口服液”功效益气养心，安神止惊，用于肝肾不足，气血亏虚所致的心悸、胸闷、胸痛，气短乏力、失眠多梦、自汗、盗汗、心烦等症。药用黄芪、麦冬、生晒参、茯苓、地黄、龟甲（烫）、丹参、郁金、桂枝、紫石英、淫羊藿、金银花、枳壳（炒），方中桂枝温助心阳，温通心脉。
