Introduction

初次接触介入性磁共振成像（iMRI）是2006年在美国波士顿哈佛医学院BWH医院没在FerencJolesz教授领导的团队学习iMRI技术。那时他们的iMRI手术室采用的是double-donut双磁体0。5T专用介入手术系统，此手术室作为一个微创介入手术平台向全院开放，每周安排各种手术，所涉及的项目包括肿瘤的消融术、近距离放射性粒子植入肿瘤治疗术，以及MR引导脑瘤的切除术等，特别是MR引导的氩氦刀冷冻消融治疗，在肝脏和肾脏肿瘤的治疗中显示出巨大的优势。
回国后我筹备并采用GE公司生产的0。35T永磁型开放式磁共振系统，结合北京新奥公司生产的红外线导航设备进行了肝脏、肾脏、骨骼和软组织肿瘤的活检和氩氦刀冷冻消融手术，初步体验了iMRI的优势。
每2年召开1次的国际磁共振会议云集着来自全球的从事iMRI的学者，我有幸参加可第7届、第8届及第9届国际磁共振会议，期间感受到iMRI技术的巨大潜力和快速的发展。2010年9月我和赵磊博士受此书作者TomasKahn教授的邀请参加了在他工作的城市德国莱比锡市举行的第8届国际磁共振会议并做了大会发言，2年之后再波士顿哈佛医学院召开的第9届国际磁共振会议上获悉此书即将出版。拿到此书后受其丰富的内容所感染，急于翻译成中文。希望此书能把iMRI的信息传递给大家，对国内iMRI技术的发展有所促进和帮助。
