在整个电子商务交易过程中，网上金融服务是其中很重要的一环，并且随着电子商务的普及和发展，网上金融服务的内容也在发生着很大的变化。网上金融服务包括了网上购买、网络银行、家庭银行、企业银行、个人理财、网上股票交易、网上保险、网络交税等。这些网络金融服务都是通过网络支付或电子支付的手段来实现的。电子支付就是资金或与资金有关的信息通过网络进行交换的行为，在普通的电子商务中就表现为消费者、商家、企业、中介机构和银行等通过Internet所进行的资金流转，主要通过信用卡、电子支票、数字现金、智能卡等方式来实现。但由于电子支付是通过开放的Internet来实现的，支付信息很容易受到黑客的攻击和破坏，这些信息的泄漏和受损直接威胁到企业和客户的切身利益，所以安全性一直是电子支付实现所要考虑的最重要的问题之一。目前，电子支付技术和电子交易安全协议等技术和手段已经得到很大的发展，并在电子商务中得到广泛应用。

20世纪最后的几年里，高等职业教育的迅速崛起，是影响高等教育体制变革的一件大事。在短短的几年时间里，普通中专教育、普通高专教育全面转轨，以高等职业教育为主导的各种形式的培养应用型人才的教育发展到与普通高等教育等量齐观的地步，其来势之迅猛，发人深省。
无论是正在缓慢变革着的普通高等教育，还是迅速推进着的培养应用型人才的高职教育，都向我们提出了一个同样的严肃问题：中国的高等教育为谁服务，是为教育发展自身，还是为包括教育在内的大千社会？答案肯定而且唯一，那就是教育也置身其中的现实社会。
由此又引发出高等教育的目的问题。既然教育必须服务于社会，它就必须按照不同领域的社会需要来完成自己的教育过程。换言之，教育资源必须按照社会划分的各个专业（行业）领域（岗位群）的需要实施配置，这就是我们长期以来明乎其理而疏于力行的学以致用问题，这就是我们长期以来未能给予足够关注的教育目的问题。
