第1章系统集成体系结构
目前，各类信息系统在各行各业得到广泛应用。随着社会的进一步信息化，人们试图整合各类信息系统并综合加以利用的需求也越来越迫切，信息系统集成的任务迫在眉睫。但由于信息系统异构性强，集成的工作复杂烦琐且技术难度大，因此，建立信息系统集成的体系结构，整理集成的思路尤为重要。本章主要对信息系统的相关概念、信息系统集成的相关概念以及信息系统集成的框架进行了介绍和阐述。
1.1 信息系统的概念
不同学科对信息有不同的定义。一般来讲，广义的信息提供了有关现实世界事务的消息和知识；狭义的信息是一种已经被加工为特定形式的数据。这种数据形式对于接收者来说是有意义的，而且对当前和将来的决策具有明显的或实际的价值。
自从有了计算机和通信系统，信息的获取、传输、存储和应用等发生了巨大变化。以前信息传递的手段落后，常让人感叹信息的获取太难。而如今自从有了计算机、手机和Internet，信息量呈爆炸式增长。如何管理数量庞杂的信息成为社会的迫切需求。信息系统正是顺应这种需求产生的。
信息系统定义为由计算机系统和通信系统组成的，用于对信息进行采集、传输、处理、存储、管理，并有效地供用户使用的系统。随着信息系统的应用范围越来越广，信息系统在人类的活动中越来越占据主动的地位。信息系统覆盖应用领域广、种类繁多，如管理信息系统、地理信息系统、指挥信息系统、决策支持系统、办公信息系统、科研协作系统、情报检索系统、医学信息系统、银行信息系统、民航订票系统等都属于这个范畴。
1.1.1 信息系统的功能
信息系统的基本功能包括信息采集、信息处理、信息存储、信息传输和信息管理。
1．信息采集
信息采集负责把分布在各部门、各地点的有关信息收集起来，集中转化成信息系统中可以相互交换和处理的形式。信息采集的方式有多种：人工录入数据、网络获取数据、传感器自动收集等。信息系统的信息采集功能取决于系统所要达到的目的、系统的能力和信息环境的许可。
2．信息处理
信息处理负责对进入信息系统的数据进行加工处理，从而得到管理所需的各种综合指标。信息处理的方法包括排序、分类、归并、查询、统计、预测、模拟以及各种数学运算。专用的数据处理工具还可以进行基于数据仓库技术的联机分析处理和数据挖掘技术。
3．信息存储
信息存储负责存储各种信息资料和数据。存储的方式不仅包括物理存储，即将各种信息存储到适当的介质上，还包括逻辑组织，即根据信息的逻辑内在联系和使用方式将大批信息组织成合理的结构。
4．信息传输
信息传输负责将采集到的数据传送到处理中心，再将经加工处理后的信息传送到使用者。信息传输的方式分成无线传输和有线传输两大类。信息系统规模越大，信息传输问题越复杂。
