溫暖「食」光／覺居法師（佛光山中區總住持）

烹飪，是生活中潛藏最多細節的技能，人人皆可為，但滋味大不同：童年父母親的餵養，是親情的味道，回憶起來都是溫馨；成年朋友的相聚，是茁壯的味道，厚實了生活經驗……為家人煮一餐飯，用的是愛；為大眾炒一鍋菜，用的是願。對於中國人來說，中菜有中菜的鄉愁、西菜有西菜的嚐鮮……個人口味輕重、地域用料配方都不同，即便同樣一道菜，不同人烹煮，也會有不同的滋味，何況是大江南北各種菜色，不過以佛教來講，最慈悲的滋味，就是不侵犯任何有情眾生的素菜。

家師星雲大師早年曾各方蒐羅素菜食譜結集成冊，名為《素菜譜》，為的就是推廣素食，他說：「吃素的意義是什麼呢？素食能長養慈心、接近道德、有益健康、增加耐力、簡單衛生、維護生態。」跟隨大師的推廣，之後佛光出版社、香海文化也陸陸續續出版了不少素食譜，大多是傳統的中式素菜，聽說乃光要出版她的第一本以西式蔬食為主、兼具中式美味的食譜，她又「出身」中區，我也感到與有榮焉。

乃光可以說是中區的「種籽」信徒，從二十多年前依空法師駐鍚東海道場時，她就開始親近、護持道場。十多年前，我剛分派到東海道場任職住持，初識乃光時，只知道她即將成為最年輕的佛光會會長，後來才知道外表高䠷莊嚴的她，跟佛光山法緣殊勝，母親是護持佛光山多年的信徒，大姊是目前花蓮月光寺監院妙勳法師，二十多年前她的兒子出生時，還是依空法師取的名，標準喝佛光山法水長大的，因此憑添了一份親切。爾後在她發心參與會務、擔任惠中寺文宣組攝影與行政工作，在在感受到她氣蘊飽滿的笑聲中，有細膩的發心與堅定的實踐力。

我是一個不懂做菜的人，在我的感覺，食物是一種律動，能催化人與人之間的情感，它也像流光，無聲息地陪伴我們滋長向前的動能。廚藝，則像一首動人的奏鳴曲，即使單一的素樸平凡，透過創作也能融合造就出餐桌上繽紛的情感，讓味蕾芬芳、記憶留香。

近年來知道乃光精於烹飪，而擅於繪畫的她，也真的能將食物的味道，用她的美感描繪出來，她的蔬食料理，美味、美麗是必然的，特別的是，別有一種人情的質感，溫暖、醇厚，這是我很佩服的地方。

像乃光這樣能用簡單的方式、用保有食材原味的料理廚藝，讓餐桌充滿驚奇，應該分享給更多人，如今更欣見她即將出書，為她讚嘆，同時也開心喜愛素食的大眾有口福了。隻字片語，代替祝福，忝為序。

初見我學妹乃光是在七年前的初冬。很晚了，人都散去了的惠中寺入門櫃檯邊。

高身材，濃豐密髮，雙眼皮很彎很深的一雙帶笑意的眼睛。

那陣子我正在寫《長生殿》新古典小說，裡頭嫦娥造型，原型用的就是她：
眼神迷迷濛濛，髮髻高聳如堆雲，斜插一隻長長的丹箭……

很快的，我在大大小小我們共事的活動中，發現她領導吆喝的能力驚人，網路怎麼PO、場地怎麼布置、桌椅怎麼擺設、花怎麼插、書怎麼綁彩帶、工作人員怎麼穿著、動線怎麼走、甜點、杯水、胸飾、名牌、簽到簿……，無一不是乃光在發落，最近我對人介紹她，用的詞是：「她是我們的總管，大當家的。」

可以很美麗，也可以很強悍。

相熟之後學姐妹掏心說話，不免我要提到生命中自有的重大失落，她也會說些這啊那啊的不順利，我因此就胡扯瞎謅了一段情節，說我們身材如此高大，必是天上仙女，她在天庭打破盤子，我在一旁噗嗤笑得太大聲，於是雙雙被貶下凡來。天上犯了錯的，人間便受些罰。從此，我們偶有訴苦，我都說：「誰叫你要在天上打破盤子。」

但慢慢的，我心中想法變了，這齣亂掰的戲，劇情重寫了。

全都因由她漸漸開展的，不依附為大團體裡重要的一分子，而是超拔高起以個人之姿娉婷著的，令人無法不注目的多種才能——

她寫美食專欄，她開始繪畫。

然後，她的專欄結集出書，《光譜廚房》每一道清爽可口蔬食的背後，都有一則溫暖的人情故事、廚娘獨特的生活美學、配有生活風格的照片，偶爾點綴她親繪的清新水彩插圖。林乃光上菜，於她的都市田園廚房，有文有圖有美食。

可以是作家，也可以是畫家。

可以烤箱炒鍋柴米油鹽，也可以安靜在燈下，忘我於畫架前。

新古典《長生殿》的後宮，有尚食局、尚衣局，天庭又怎可能沒有尚燈局、尚瑪瑙纓絡局、尚杯盤局？乃光如此多才能，我這一生卻只能專注寫作一件事，所以，我戲碼已修、情節已改，當日在天庭打破盤子的，是我，她是天界仙班的班頭，得什麼都管什麼都會。

我打破盤子被貶下凡，她是班頭，被連坐。大唐郭子儀不也是這樣嗎？是他的部屬誤了軍機，但他連坐也要被斬，結果在囚車裡被李白識才所救的，不是嗎？

二位仙女下凡來，入世有情卻也豪情各具。

盤子脆裂當下的錯愕，鐫刻在我懊悔的魂靈，隨緣、隨分、隨聚散於是成為我的豪情，明白或不明白的都壓成祕密，反正天意更遼闊，我只負責日子的簡靜。她是班頭，果斷自主、具掌管能力，事事靈活擅調度，閃避不了的仍要對人事多關懷，持續波長熱幅射，有光有熱有色度，這是乃光的豪情。

讓我們成為學姐學妹，彰化八卦山上的那所國中早已消失了（現在改為藝術高中），但我們仍找得回彼此相認續情；天庭仙界早就幾劫幾世幾重天的時空無垠渺然了，但我們此世已來在佛前潛心修行。將來回仙界或留紅塵？這當然由不得我們自己作主，但白素貞千年修行也抵不了傘下的片刻溫存，乃光有與她偕老的「貝勒爺」（我給她先生的稱號），我看，她會像海飲無限續杯那樣，繼續遍食人間煙火。

這次我回天庭，想帶316不鏽鋼盤或幾可亂真的塑膠盤回去，得去問問乃光學妹，哪一家賣得比較物美價又廉，報她的名或許還能打九折。

令人無法不注目，緩緩打開扇面的才能漸漸在開展，乃光出完這本書，下一步接著會是……，應該是開畫展。那開完畫展呢？
