Who is Ziqi Li? Ziqi is a Chinese vlogger and internet celebrity. She is an artisan known for making Chinese traditional handcrafts and cuisine, often using simple ingredients and tools. Her YouTube channel has over 2.7 billion views and 16 million subscribers, as verified on 21 August 2021, which is a Guinness World Record for "The most subscribers for a Chinese language channel on YouTube".

Now, Yami has introduced various savory rice noodle products and confections from Li Ziqi, from pear jelly to hot and sour vermicelli. Every one of them is delicious! Lotus root powder is a delicious food invented in China, and has long been royal cuisine. Now it is considered part China's intangible cultural heritage. In 1972, US President Nixon visited China and after tasting the Chinese lotus root powder, he brought it back to the United States as a gift.

According to Ziqi Li, they have innovated on traditional lotus powder production techniques, adding eight natural ingredients including osmanthus, wolfberry (Chinese: 枸杞; pinyin: góuqǐ, a healthy fruit), cranberry, almond, purple potato, and cashews. It has a hint of sweet-scented osmanthus and tastes delicious. Suitable for breakfast, it can also be enjoyed for dessert, or as a porridge for lunch and dinner.

Instructions

1. Scoop 3 - 5 spoonfuls of Lotus Root Powder into a cup or bowl. 2. Add about 2 teaspoons of cold water and mix thoroughly. 3. Fill the bowl with boiling water and stir again to make a transparent paste. If the paste is still not transparent, microwave for 30 seconds. 4. Serve and enjoy.
