1.Pour contents of package into the hot pot
2. Add 4 or 5 scallions (white parts only), 20 cloves of garlic, and 6 cups (1 1/2 quarts) of boiling water
3. When the soup is boiling, you may put in all sorts of meat, vegetables, seafood, noodles etc.
